Come and help us make some small quilts for the Ottawa Ronald McDonald House families. Bring your sewing machines and we will have small tops, individual blocks, batting and backing to finish the donations we received after the Big Quilt Bee. There will be goodies and prizes, but bring your lunch so you have lots of energy!
If you prefer to make your own top, we have found a great new Missouri Star pattern for you to try out, called “Crossroads”. The materials for this need at least 30 2 1/2” strips, 0.6 m accent fabric, and 1.3 m for a small border and binding. This is an easy, strip sewn block that works well with coordinated fabrics, or jelly roll precuts. We will have examples of this block at the Sew Day.
