Sept 14, 2023 – “Jane Austen’ Story & Quilt” – Linda Meyer
Linda will walk us through her journey to Jane Austen’s home in the UK. Followed by the story of her own Jane Austen Heirloom Quilt, this presentation promises to be inspiring!

Oct 12, 2023 – “It’s All About the Paper” – Sherida Giddings
Sherida will show you her ever growing collection of quilts using the precision of the Judy Niemeyer/Quiltworx’s paper piecing techniques. Other fun methods to learn more about.

Dec 14, 2023 – “It’s All About That Face” – Phyllis Cullen & Cindy Richard
Phyllis joins us from Hawaii, Cindy will be co-presenting from Israel! They apply the rule of fine art to quilting in order to capture the essence of a subject. 

Jan 11, 2024 – “Painting With Fabrics” – Chris Allaway
Chris’s pieces may look like paintings of the outdoors, but you will be pleasantly surprised when you see that it’s all made with fabric. So many tiny of pieces to create such fabulous art pieces.

Feb 8, 2024 – “A Deep Dive Into Batiks” – Tammy Silvers
Tammy will take you in for a closer look at the making of batiks. Did you know she designs batiks for Island Batik! Cool isn’t it?

“Quilting Can Get In Your Blood” – Holly and Heather McDermid
Two young sisters residing in Stittsville each won their first prize at Quilt Canada 2023. They will share with you their quilting journey to date and how they were influenced by two previous generations.

Mar 14, 2024 – “Uncovering Art Quilts” – Valerie Wilson 
Valerie will demonstrate how she uses the textural qualities of fabric to create light, shadow and a 3-dimensional look in her fibre art. Her pieces are stunning!

April 11, 2024 – “Beauty Is All Around Trunk Show” – Kathy K. Wylie
You will be amazed at Kathy’s quilts! They are created with shapes that are round or radiating in nature. Kathy is a master appliqué artist, using the Apliquick technique.

May 9, 2024 – “Quilt As You Go Is the Way to Go” – Marie-Claire Charette
Marie-Claire, La Quilting Coach, will demonstrate her repertoire of QAYG techniques that will let you modify your regular patterns into a QAYG. Sounds like what many of us are looking for!

June 13, 2024 – “Kangas and Kitenges” – Virginia Taylor and Nancy Arbogast

This is a fascinating, lively presentation that brings to life the colours and stories behind fabrics worn by women in East Africa.
