About fifteen guild members came out to help with Quiltie Kit creation on Thursday. There were irons hissing and blades slicing, as the piles of donated fabrics were transformed into strips, squares and other block components. Nearly 100 kits were assembled and packaged, most of them complete with binding, backing and a guild label. The kits will be made available at future meetings, so guild members can assemble them into finished 24″ square Quilties.
