Special Offer – Melissa’s Book

We heard that Melissa’s second book – Edge to Edge with the Walking Foot – is selling out locally. We have arranged an order of her books directly with her and can save on the shipping cost. The cost will be around $30 but will be confirmed when we get the invoice. If you would like one, let Leslie know. November Charity Block Challenge

For those interested in participating in November’s block challenge, please find the directions below. This block pattern was taken from “Block a Day” by Lucinda Ganderton. The block is called “Square Cross”
For our challenge, I ask that you use low volume white on white as the background, and your choice of color for the cross. (See two samples below).
Deadline for block: I am aiming for these blocks to be completed by next meeting in December – of course if you need extra time, please reach out to me so I can wait before piecing the top together.
Once you are finished the block, please email me and I will arrange for pick up or drop off. (Drop offs are in Kanata North and Merivale)
