Workshops 2026-27 (more dates to follow for 2027)

Follow-up to Terry Rowland Workshops and sharing similar techniques. This is intended to be a drop-in but if you plan to attend, please let me know so I can set up the room accordingly.
We are asking for a $5 donation towards the rental of the facility.
Wed October 28 – *** NEW ***
Join us for a Mystery Sew Along. Your finished quilt will be 40” X 50”. Cutting instructions will be given upon arrival and after that the mystery will be solved!
This pattern is forgiving and a great way to use scraps, a panel you had but didn’t know what to do with, batiks, I Spy, Christmas … whatever. Blends and coordinating fabrics or one single colour way … you choose! Works best with lots of variety … bring a stash!

Workshop fee $20
Wed December 2
Walking foot course with Leslie Whitby. The fee to attend this workshop would be the participant agrees to quilt a charity quilt top with the skills you have learned or any other method you wish to try.
Where applicable, all workshop fees are non-refundable, but you can send someone in your place if you can’t attend.
Workshops are held at the Kanata Legion
70 Hines Rd from 9:30 to 3 PM
Please bring a coffee mug & a lunch. We do not have use of the kitchen so bring something that doesn’t require refrigeration or reheating
