The membership year runs from July 1 through June 30. The membership fee for the 2023-2024 guild year has been waived for returning members (people who were members at April 30, 2023). Otherwise, the membership fee for any new members is $35.00 for the guild year.
Members may also order a guild name tag for an additional cost of $10.00. The name tag can be used at our Sew Days, workshops and other in-person events.

Name tag update: In order to keep costs down, we typically order name tags in bulk. All orders placed before the September meeting will be available for pick up in October. Payment must be received prior to your order being accepted. The cost for a name tag with a magnetic holder is $10.00. Payment and ordering instructions are explained on the membership form.
Membership benefits include the monthly newsletter, monthly meetings with interesting speakers, sew days, play-days, retreats, workshops, community involvement with charity quilts and so much more.
New and renewing members can fill in the online form that is forwarded to the membership team as soon as you hit the Submit button. Follow the instructions on the membership form for payment by either eTransfer or cheque. A membership card will be mailed once the team has both the form and payment.
When and where we meet
Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month (except July and August) at the Glen Cairn United Church, 140 Abbyhill Drive, Kanata. The meetings are from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Guests / Visitors
Visitors are welcome at any meeting, at a per meeting fee of $5. Guests at in-person meetings are welcome to pay at the door. If you would like to join us for a Zoom meeting, please fill out this form and submit it with payment to our membership team. The Guest Pass is not confirmed until payment is received.
