Information about the Retreat
April 9-12, 2026
Bring along new projects, old projects and projects half done. Spend a relaxing 3 night weekend where all you need to do is eat and sew.
What’s included:
– A check-in time on Thursday after 3 pm, check-out on Sunday at 11 am.
– Access to the sewing room from check-in Thursday, all day Friday and Saturday, and until Noon on Sunday.
– Dinner on Thursday, all meals on Friday and Saturday, breakfast on Sunday.
- A silent auction
- Games with prizes
- One or two fun free workshops
- Show and tell
- Raffle ticket purchase for gift cards.
- Irons, ironing boards, heavy duty extension cords, cutting mats and rulers to share. No
need to bring your own. - Participants will be responsible for providing sewing machines and accessories, quilt projects,
sewing kits, extra lights, chair cushions, extra extension cords / power bars if desired.
This retreat is for current Kanata Quilt Guild members. If room is available, consideration will be given to non-members. - There is a great deal of interest in this retreat, so please apply ASAP. Note: Deadline to register is February 15, 2026.
Once your registration is submitted, you will receive an email confirming your participation.
PLEASE DO NOT SEND ANY PAYMENT until requested to do so.
There will be no refunds after March 9, 2026.
Cost:
$430.00 per person for four days (Thursday – Sunday). three nights’ accommodation, taxes,
gratuity and activity fee. This is a per person cost not a per room cost. You are welcome to
share rooms and, in some cases, you may have to share a bathroom.
