We had 28 members join in the fun on May 1 as we got together for a charity sew day and a pot luck lunch. Almost everyone was busy cutting and/or sewing for charity; in the end we have five finished quilt tops and two more in the works. As well, enough fabric was cut to put together at least two more quilts. A colorful display of many of the quilts that have already been finished and ready to donate this year was inspiring. There was a draw for door prizes – winners Marilyn Fairfull, Erin Bennett, Daisy Locke, Dawn Harkness, Diane Hart and Doris Braslins each received a quilt block coaster from Paisleys Quilt Shop. Thanks to everyone who came out and made the day such a success!
